This is a highly specialized field that deals with taking care of patients who have a compromised kidney function. These professionals are not only trained to operate sophisticated machines which act as kidneys in removing waste and excess fluids from body, but also in maintaining, repairing of these machines. Moreover, they are also trained in patient education, counseling of patient and relatives on dietary habits, adherence to prescribed dialysis, etc.
Eligibility for admission
- The candidates who have completed Pre-University (10+2) examination with sciences subjects PCB, PCMB, CBZ as the major subjects will be admitted to 2nd year diploma course.
- The candidates who have completed SSLC or equivalent examination will be admitted to 1st year diploma course.
- Eligibility for admission is as per Para Medical Board (GOK) norms as amended from time to time.
