An Operation Technician is a person who is responsible for the overall management of the operation theatre, which includes managing patients in & out of the operation theatre, proper maintenance of surgical instruments, arrangement of operation theatre table, dressing table, instrument table, anesthesia table and the management of the OT staff. He / She is also responsible for the maintenance of drug indent, anesthetic gases, linen and their sterilization.
Eligibility for admission
- The candidates who have completed Pre-University (10+2) examination with sciences subjects PCB, PCMB, CBZ as the major subjects will be admitted to 2nd year diploma course.
- The candidates who have completed SSLC or equivalent examination will be admitted to 1st year diploma course.
- Eligibility for admission is as per Para Medical Board (GOK) norms as amended from time to time.
